Proofing
It's important to note that proofs are designed in colour; however, the colours may vary slightly when viewed on different computer screens. The final printed colours may slightly vary from your digital screen. You may select one invitation for a printed proof to verify the colours.
I will do an initial check while making the proof, but the final inspection is your responsibility. That includes: names, dates, locations, spelling, grammar, information, details, phone numbers, websites, directions, etc. Once you’ve given your final approval, any errors are corrected at your expense.
Timeline
The design to finalization process can take 3-4 weeks, including any revisions. The timeline can be altered depending on the number of revisions required.
Pricing
Scribbly Stationery reserves the right to change prices without notice. Price changes may be affected by an increase or decrease in supplier, service and/or production costs.
Your invitations will be delivered to you based on the quote provided to you.
3 revisions are included in the initial pricing. Any additional revisions will be an additional $25.
Design Property
All designs and concepts are the property of Scribbly Stationery. Scribbly Stationery retains all rights to use the preliminary and completed designs for promotions or other clients.
Copying
It is important to us that the stationery we create is our own. We appreciate inspiration from other sources to give us an idea of what you’d like, but we will not replicate someone else’s design. Please do not ask us to copy someone else’s design with your wording and colours as that is not something we will do. Thanks for understanding.
Illustrations
If you require specific illustrations for your invitations, we require that you either provide them yourselves or work with the limited quantity available to us. We will send you what is available before proceeding. We do not do customer illustrations and will not steal from other designers.
Payments
An initial non-refundable draft is required before starting the design process. Final payment is due before printing. We accept cash, e-transfer, and credit cards as payment methods.
Returns & Cancellations
As the invitations are customized to your wedding, we do not offer returns or refunds. If there is a need to cancel your order, please let us know right away (preferably before the design process). Once the design process has started, your deposit will be non-refundable. If the printing process has started, your final payment will be non-refundable.
Delivery
All local orders will be available for pick-up on an appointment basis. For any orders requiring shipment, all shipping and postage will be assumed by the client. Scribbly Stationery is not responsible for any damages, delays, or losses incurred during the shipping of invitations. Any shipping charges will be added to your final invoice.
Deposit & Payment
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for each project. The deposit is due at the time of the process and is used towards the custom design, proofing, and materials. The design will not begin without the deposit. The deposit will be applied to the total amount due for the invitations. The remaining balance must be paid in full before sending to print.
