Shipping & Returns
At Scribbly, all shipments are carefully prepared and packaged in house from our studio in Vancouver, Canada. Orders ship Monday thru Friday. Customer service emails are answered Monday thru Friday.
Please note: Due to COVID-19 please allow for additional shipment times as there may be delays in delivering and tracking mails and parcels.
Order Processing:
- In stock items are typically fulfilled within 2-4 business days once the order is placed.
- For backordered items, we will notify you via email once your order has shipped. Backordered items may take longer than usual to ship.
- Please note: We are currently not experiencing exceptional days in order processing and shipping. However, due to the COVID-19, factors out of our control may cause shipping delays. We know you're excited to receive your products and we are doing our best to ensure you receive your order as quickly as possible! We appreciate your patience during these unprecedented times.
- During holidays and sales promotions, please allow additional time for order processing.
Order Confirmation and Tracking Emails:
- Once your order has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email detailing your order.
- Once your item is ready for shipment, you will receive a shipping confirmation email, followed by an email with your tracking information. It may take up to 24 hours for the tracking information to be updated online.
- We occasionally print labels in advance of the shipment being packed. This will generate a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. However, the order will not proceed until the package is shipped and received by the postal carrier.
Please note: Once your order is received by the carrier, Scribbly is no longer responsible for your shipment. We ensure that each item is carefully packaged to minimize any damage during shipment. If the package is lost or damaged during the shipment process, you are responsible for filing a claim with the carrier. We are happy to walk you through the process!
If you have received a damaged/defective item from an order placed in our online shop, please contact us with your name, order number, nature of the issue, and attach a photo to your email. We can not process a return for damages if the product has been written in or used.
Local Pick-Ups:
- We currently offer free pick-ups in Surrey, BC, Canada. This option is available to anyone who lives in the Greater Vancouver area or its surrounding areas that is able to pick-up the order.
- Pick-up orders typically take 2-3 business days from the date the order is received to be prepared. We do not offer same day pick-ups.
- The pick-up option is available at checkout. Simply click on the "pick-up" option during checkout.
- Please wait for an email from Scribbly to confirm your order pick-up time and date.
Please note: Pick-ups are only available on the time and date noted in your pick-up confirmation email. If you are unable to make the time and date notes in your email, please contact us at notes@scribblyinc.com to schedule another date or time.
Estimated Delivery:
- We currently ship all domestic orders via Canada Post. Please note that Scribbly does not charge a handling fee. All shipping costs are based solely on weight and destination.
- Domestic orders typically take 5-7 business days from the date the package is received by the postal carrier. We do not offer overnight shipping.
- International shipments typically take 2-3 weeks from the date the package is received by the postal carrier.

International Orders:
- Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping fee. These charges are set by the destination country and are the buyer's responsibility. Please check within your country's customs office to determine any additional costs or delays that may occur prior to purchasing.
- International shipments typically take 2-3 weeks to arrive from the date of shipment. Shipments are subject to customs clearance procedures, which can cause delays in your shipment. Scribbly cannot be held responsible for customs delays.
- For International orders, once the package leaves Canada, shipping carriers do not have any control over delivery. If tracking states that your package has arrived in its destination country, you may need to connect with your local post office or carrier to work with them to have the package delivered.
- Should any problems arise, you are responsible for filing a claim with the carrier for damaged or lost shipments.
Non-Refundable Shipping:
- Shipping fees are non-refundable for undeliverable shipments, refused shipments, order cancellations, or returns/exchanges.
Returns:
- All sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or cancellations are accepted.*
- We are unable to accommodate planner cover style changes, cancellations or exchanges, as well as any name, shipping, or billing changes after an order has been placed and processed. We do not have the ability to combine or split orders, or contact shipping companies to correct shipping addresses after the checkout process.
- Once your package has shipped, Scribbly is no longer in control. If your package has been lost or damaged during the shipping process, you must file a claim with your shipping carrier.
